ME5960/6960: Medical Instrumentation and Physiology This course is intended to provide engineers with an in-depth understanding of medical instrumentation (both current and historical). Students will also learn both the function of and engineering models of the human physiology of major organ systems, including cardiovascular, renal, pulmonary, systems, as well as the kinematics and kinetics of gait and motion. The course overview and syllabus is available here. This class will meet Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:55-3:55 pm in WEB110. Please note: this course is scheduled during the first session of the fall semester, which means it runs from Mon, Aug 20 through Wed, Oct 5. If you are having trouble registering for the class, please come to the first class on Monday, Aug. 20. We will take care of registration issues first thing after class. Sorry!
